Well, it is the first of December.
So, it must be the time for raffle quilts for our local kids Christmas night.
It just makes you want to hum ... Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas .....

Today I made a 12" block - woven ribbons.
I was in a block swap and the final block was my own choice.
All the blocks are lovely, though one doesn't fit really well, so I haven't decided if I will use it, or make another one.
The camera makes my beiges quite yellow ....
I am making Lucy a bag full of dollies. I made the bag, nigh on twelve months ago, and am finally getting around to the dolls. At five inches tall and dressed - let's just say they are .... fiddly.
The other traditional quilt I am working on is a Jane Austen - like quilt.
In pansies, of course.
Mum bought me the pattern and templates years ago and finally, it is on its way.
Just for Robyn.
Here is the latest quilt I have started work on. A traditional piece of goose blocks.
I bought a set of fat quarters years ago with this lap quilt inn mind and this is the first block.
Found some matching pieces of fabric the other day in mum's stash, and guess what, they are in mine now. Ha ha.
